Hedge overhanging brick wall forces pedestrians off pavement and on to muddy verge

Reported via mobile in the Hedge problem category anonymously at 19:28, Thu 28 March 2024

Sent to Marlow Town Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5778560.

The hedge outside 180 West Street, Marlow needs cutting back to the boundary line of the property. It is overhanging half of the pathway consequently pedestrians are forced out on to the grass verge which has now become mud because of this. It has been like this for some time. There is also ground level hedging at the east end of the wall encroaching on to the footpath that needs cutting back.

  • Looking forward to these hedges being cut back to the wall at the start of August.

Though there are no set dates when nesting season begins or ends, cutting hedges between the beginning of August and the end of February is usually safe.
