B3026 pedestrian island no 2574 near Pineapple Pub

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5767016.

This Pedestrian island number 2574 is so covered in mud unable to see it in the dark. All other pedestrian islands along this stretch of the B3026 are also difficult to see in the dark but I almost drove into the one numbered 2574. (I went back during daylight to see the number and report it.) I think its extremely dangerous. Yesterday I received an email to advised it was fixed. Drove home last night and IT IS NOT FIXED. STILL DIFFICULT TO SEE. Please don't wait until an accident happens for these islands to be replaced.

  • A Highway Officer will carry out an inspection within the next 10 working days, some signs due to their location may require a specialist equipment for safety reasons, if your Highway Officer is unable to clean the sign on site, they will arrange for the specialist team carry out the work, which in some cases can take up to 28 days.
