Change in speed limit

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5750801.

The speed limit on this road has been reduced from 40mph to 30mph, however the proposal that was approved (https://buckinghamshire.moderngov.co.uk/ Data/ BCC%20Cabinet%20Member%20Decisions/ 20130221/ Agenda/ PT01.13%20App%20D2%20Area%206%20detailed%20info%20prev%20limits%20PDF%203%20MB-28447.pdf) ends the 30mph limit at the south of the railway bridge whereas the signs have been put up are north of the bridge and the junction to the trading estate!

Updates

  • The Highway Officer will attend the site plotted on the map and make arrangements for the unauthorised sign to be removed.

    As part of our highway management strategy, unauthorised signs will be removed from the highway, removal will be prioritised according to highway safety, resource requirements and the interests of the community. The Council may exercise their discretion not to enforce in some situations (e.g., small scale charity events).

    These signs will be held for 28 days and there will be a storage fee of the unauthorised signs that do not comply with this policy where applicable.
