Updates

  • A Highway Officer will go out and remove the animal to ensure traffic can move safely on the road.

In some cases, this may mean the animal is moved to the side of the road as a short term measure, we then make arrangements with our Street Scene Team who will go out and collect the animal.

If the domestic animal such as a cat or dog, we will try to identify and inform the owner from a collar or microchip where possible.
