Waiting for double yellow lines

Reported via mobile in the Parking in a restricted space category anonymously at 21:58, Wed 13 March 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5709736.

We live down a road with an old people’s home on it. If emergency service vehicles want to come down the road they would struggle to get down, which has happened on numerous of occasions. The first 2 times where we have an ambulance down they end up blocking the whole road because neighbours obstruct the whole road. If it were to be a fire engine; they’d have no chance getting down the road. The issue has been present for years. They park their cars out on the road and cause an obstruction of trying to get onto my driveway. You ask them to move the car and then if any work is getting done they park across our driveway and refuse to move their car. It’s a service road, but no one can ever get down the road because there’s so many cars down it. I don’t know where I can find the application form but we really need double yellow lines put down the road, it’ll help if the elderly were in need and when trying to get off of the drive.
