Residents who are not allocated parking spaces as they are all allocated to council house residents are getting parking fines

Reported via desktop in the Parking in a restricted space category anonymously at 16:54, Thu 29 February 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5650338.

I live on Brooke road and my household are not allocated parking spaces as they are given to council house residents (who have 1-2 spaces each) - this is so unfair and as I work from home a lot if I am in meetings I sometimes am unable to move my car to the other side of the road - meaning I get a parking ticket. You need to give residents permit parking as it is disgusting that residents are getting penalised when we live here!

Updates

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
