Junction/corner from Gordon rd onto Princes gate

Reported via mobile in the Parking on double yellow lines category anonymously at 16:17, Wed 7 February 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5544859.

Parents who have chosen to send their children to Bowerdean Nursery refuse to use the car park available at the rear of the property and park / double park illegally on double yellow lines at the junction. They drag their children across the road with little regards for their safety of anyone else’s. They abandon their cars whilst they walk their child round the corner resulting in several near misses where cars are having to drive on the other side of the road whilst trying to leave the estate. It’s become a serious safety risk for the children, drivers and all members who live in the housing estate. This is not a new problem but it has certainly worsened with no authority taking even the most basic actions to try and deter or prevent this. If no action is taken someone will end up being seriously hurt it’s only a matter of time!
