A taxi company for Braintree is parking their vehicle in our street

Reported via desktop in the Parking in a restricted space category anonymously at 12:01, Tuesday 6 February 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5538368.

A taxi company from Braintree is parking their taxis in our street Hartwell End, 3 usually at a time. It is stopping residents from parking here, causing them to block the road and entrance to the cycleway. We have care workers who need to visit residence in the bungalow's of Towersey Way, who are having to block the street, residents who are having to park on the road instead of in the bay because there is no place to park. There can be up to 14 vehicles here on a weekend trying to all park and are now having to block the road. Residents should not have to park somewhere else because of a taxi firm from another county keeping their vehicles here, because they are employing a resident who lives on the other side of the block, and has another taxi parked on that side as well. This is not a Taxi rank and it is not expectable that the people who live here can park properly Please can you contact this firm and resident and get them to remove these vehicles. These are the following number plates EU67 CNO, Braintree registration 980 EJ72 MOA Braintree registration 1501 EU19 FOA Braintree Registration 1180 DE72 WFL Braintree registration 1400
