Clear the debris around my water meter that is located at the footpath

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5485390.

I would like to report that I have a water meter that is housing on the public highway. I need to water company to carry out a reading but they advised they will not do so until the council clear the muck and debris surrounding it. Please can this be done as soon as possible as I need to arrange for the meter cover to be replaced with one that is more contained.
