Corner of Telford Close and Brunel Road

Reported via desktop in the Parking in a restricted space category anonymously at 15:41, Tue 16 January 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5451699.

The parking habits of The Real Wrap employees are causing significant visibility issues and posing a danger to both drivers and pedestrians. The grass verge where they park restricts visibility, making it hazardous for drivers to exit from the Telford Close junction. Additionally, pedestrians face extreme danger while trying to cross the road due to the lack of visibility caused by the parked cars.

Furthermore, The Real Wrap company has filled its employee car park with permanent refrigeration units. This raises concerns about whether this action breaches any planning regulations. Simply reporting this issue to The Parking Services team has not yielded any results, as it appears that it has been reported multiple times already. If neither you nor the parking services can resolve this matter, I would suggest reaching out to another contact within the council who can investigate this from a safety standpoint. It is important to note that the cars parked on the grass verges have caused significant damage, resulting in massive holes and divots.

Updates

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
