Aldi Manhole Cover is banging (again!)

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5448736.

The patchwork repair you did to this cover at the end of last year after waiting 11 months for a fix is banging again - this is causing a noise nuisance to local residents (again!). No one apparently owns this cover (used to be Thames Water) so if it serves no use or purpose and no utility company owns it or needs access to anything from it then why not remove it and then fill in / repair the road properly? If you look back at your records at the number of times over the years this has been reported you should surely be able to see that a more permanent and proper repair is in order???
