Absolutely shocking parking down Gatehouse Close

Reported via desktop in the Parking on a footpath category anonymously at 11:01, Wednesday 10 January 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5423319.

The parking situation down Gatehouse Close has become extremely unsafe for pedestrians. There is no pavement to walk on as the entire footpath is being overtaken by vehicles parking entirely on the pavement in an effort to avoid double yellow lines. I was nearly struck by a moving vehicle on my walk to work down this road. Something needs to be done before someone is killed. Many a time I have seen women with young children from the neighbouring housing estate having to walk them or push a push-chair in the road into the direction of oncoming traffic.People also speed down this road which adds to the peril. So unbelievably unsafe. I cant believe the council havent taken stronger action by now. This issue has been ongoing for TOO LONG!
