Nr HP144LG and nr HP169AE - TWO ROAD CLOSED SIGNS AFTER THE ROAD CLOSURES

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5349223.

Cm called in to advise that road signs were left after works had finished. This road was closed the entire five miles when works were only taking place in very small stretches. Cm not happy

Updates

  • Most planned roadworks are completed before the published end date, however, in some cases they can overrun due to unforeseen circumstances for example bad weather. The Utility Company should contact us, as the Highway Authority and request permission to extend their stay and may incur daily fines if they do not adhere to the conditions within their permit.

    A Highway Officer will attend the site and make contact with the Utility Company, to discuss the terms of their permit conditions.
