Botley Road, Chesham - Outside the Hen & Chickens PH

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5311067.

Road is flooded - water extends the whole width of the road, this is due to a blocked drain - residents have tried to rod it but unable to unblock it - needs sucking out. Water very deep where the drain is - this is on a bend - dangerous as people speed along here - could hit the water or if it freezes, skid on the ice. Others have reported this - aware there is a yearly programme for clearing drains but this is dangerous so cant wait that long

    The Emergency Team will carry out an assessment and arrange to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Initially the repair may be a temporary one, a permanent repair will be made as soon as possible
