Ford Transit - white with BT Openreach livery

Reported via mobile in the Abandoned vehicles category anonymously at 11:12, Thu 30 November 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5268321.

The van is in good condition for sale or repairs?!

It has not moved in weeks and weeks and is badly parked (taking up 2 car spaces as it is 2m in from the end of the parking bay)

This van is thought to be one that BT has off-loaded from its fleet and someone is offering for sale, using residential parking space as their forecourt.

This van appeared at similar time to the mini clubman estate GL62AXZ. Neither vehicle has moved in weeks. Both appear to be dumped by non-residents in readiness for sale or repairs.

Given residents parking is already at capacity, to have vehicles being dumped is unfair on those who have to illegally park simply to be anywhere near their home.

Notably, the historic and listed Gospel Hall to the corner of Shaftesbury and Victoria Street has recently had an historic brick and limestone boundary wall demolished in order to give the pastors a place to park. This seems to be the knock-on effect of abuses and misuses of the on-street parking provision. Please help!
