Keep Left Island Berry Hill Speed Restriction to 30mph SL6 0DA

Reported via mobile in the Sign problem category by David B. Allen at 10:55, Thu 30 November 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5268229.

The two keep left bollards/signs are very dirty, maybe they were illuminated in the past. Both have been hit many times but all credit they are still standing. They are proceeding up Berry Hill the bollards in the middle of this narrow road mounted on a keep left island at the speed change of 30 mph just before the entrance to Taplow House hotel. This road is now heavily used as the Cookham Bridge is closed until April 2024. In the dark with some vehicles approaching downhill with high mounted headlights (blinding) it is difficult to see these island signs. Most grateful if they could be cleaned so their reflective coating is effective and if they had internal illumination, restoration of this feature would help many motorists not familiar with this bypass route whilst the bridge is being repaired. Thanking you in anticipation.
