Blocking entrance to road, parking on a No Parking Line

Reported via mobile in the Parking in a restricted space category anonymously at 21:39, Wed 29 November 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5266866.

I have lived here for over a year now, coming up to 2 years beginning of next year. The parking is atrocious. There is no parking. People parking on a No Parking line, blocking the entrance to the close. Damaged curb because people have to go up the curb to avoid hitting the cars blocking the way. I have a young son who I have to unsafely push in his pushchair too and from my flat on the rubbled curb and crumbling pathway because of this. I have many times slipped off the curb due to it. You would not be able to get an Ambulance or a Fire Engine down here in an emergency, therefore putting our lives at risk if we cannot get the help that we may need.

Neighbour put a driveway in which has taken away 2 parking spaces also!

There is a small park at the top that is never used and is a waste of space. This could be utilised to make more parking spaces.

There are times where cars block you in, and as an early riser for work, I end up having to try get out and can't because of this.

Someone needs to come and take a look at this urgently. It's a huge problem if we ever needed any emergency help! I am sick of having to risk damage to my car with people parking on the no parking line, and also trying to squeeze my son through in his pushchair past the cars!
