Tree blocking view

Reported via mobile in the Tree blocking traffic signal/sign category anonymously at 15:01, Tue 28 November 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5261778.

Coming out of Devonshire avenue stop at junction. Cars travelling along Chesham road heading towards Chesham do not stop at the roundabout but glance to the right and if no traffic continue straight on without stopping at the roundabout. Often they come along the road fast despite the stop sign. The trouble is as a driver you cannot see them coming up the road due to the bushes hedge and foliage you can only see them if they do stop at the stop sign The view down the Chesham road is blocked because there is a tree directly behind the Devonshire avenue road sign ( on the left as you enter the road) the opposite side to the post box. If you look right you cannot see down the road because of all the hedges, bush, foliage behind the sign. Plus there is a tree that blocks your view. This tree is rotten and overhanging. It should be removed anyway. In a heavy storm this would come down. If the tree cannot be removed please can the hedge and bushes be cut back.directly as close to the fence as possible and around that corner so we have a better line of sight when trying to exit the road. It is even worse in summer so needs to be cut back now. Please also consider installing a camera on that junction Please also consider a sign saying entrance please stop at junction. It looks obvious when you come along the road but as you pull out you simply can’t see the cars that don’t stop and it happens every single day some barely even slow down but simply go straight over without pausing.
