Reported via desktop in the Street light not working category by Keneth Dauris at 19:32, Mon 27 November 2023
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later.
FixMyStreet ref: 5258779.
As previously reported by other members of the public several lights are not working. This results in very dark unlit areas, and on the evening of 22 November when walking along the designated pedestrian path at 6:30pm I stumbled into one of those low circular brick walls that are at the base of trees. This resulted in me suffering facial injury to my nose, injury to my left shin and left hand and wrist, causing me to attend A&E vis ambulance.
The Street Lighting Team will carry out an inspection and order a repair if required, this can take up to 20 working days; however, due to the exceptionally high volume of reports currently being received, it may at present take longer than usual to complete this initial assessment.
Once the issue has been investigated, the team will order any necessary repair.
