Many cars and cans parking in pedestrianized High Street; some to do with the new flats, but have they paid £15 a day as I have just had to do for work at my house? Have spoken twice to the CEO who put tickets on cars in Bellingdon Rd today. He said he would visit and see, and I was told he did so. There are no tickets on any of the vehicles. One lady told me she had nearly been hit by a car leaving the street. This has continued for many weeks, nothing seems to have been done. One van driver said there are .no signs' - not true. I understand thaer are traffic enforcement cameras from the War Memorial up towards rhe clock toer. Why not at this end?
This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.
Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
