Gutters need clearing High Street/ Lower Road, Chalfont St Peter

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 3 days, 22 hours, 12 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 5245184.

Report from elderly resident that uses buggie on pavement that gutters on High Street particularly outside 2-4 High Street, and along High Street and Lower Road that gutters need clearing of leaves and grass growing on them as with the rain it's causing blocked drains and floods in this area making the pavement inaccessible/ difficult to use.

    We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low lying area.
