Drain one keeps throwing up black stuff. On my original report 5222551 you say not your problem but Thames Water have looked at it on their map and say its a council issue? Two drains nearby have manhole covers on and have dropped and the council have been out once to see this a year ago. Put a barrier around it and never came back? Can someone call me to discuss as lots of people in this area using the playing fields plus the club pays to lease this land which is with the council? Hope someone can help us resolve ongoing problem. I am also contacting Land Registry too as you suggested, its just odd when the council have worked on this in the past. Thank you. Helen Weston
This has been passed to the Local Area Technician to investigate.
We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low lying area.

We have investigated this issue, unfortunately this is not the responsibility of Buckinghamshire Council.
To find out who owns the land where the issue reported is, you may wish to contact Land Registry.
