There are bays that are marked partially on the footway along Holtspur Ave. due to the restricted width of the road. However, the standard practice along the road is for people to park fully on the footway, forcing all pedestrians to walk in the road. Included in the vehicles parking on the footway is a car transporter. This issue occurred a few years past, and vehicles parking outside of the bays were ticketed, which stopped the practice of parking on the footways until recently.
This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.
Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
