Aylesbury High St, opposite Vale Park

Reported via desktop in the Parking on double yellow lines category anonymously at 23:00, Sun 19 November 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5230599.

There is constant illegal parking on the double yellow lines outside the restaurants and takeaways opposite Vale Park. In the evenings, especially weekends, it is ridiculous with 15+ cars parked on the double yellows or on the pavement entirely. You also get cars stopping and parking in the bus stop. It is a busy road anyway and it is dangerous with many people getting in and out of their cars and crossing the roads, as well as traffic having to manoeuvre around them. I have also seen people with pushchairs and wheel chairs having to go onto the road to move around a car blocking the pavement. I have never seen a ticket warden here and it's almost as if a blind eye is being turned as this is EVERY DAY!! Please tell your ticket inspectors to venture 200m out of the car park and to a road where we have a very real problem with serious and flagrant disregard for the rules.
