Abandoned cones and gate

Previously a drain hole was broken and was dangerous so these cones and plastic gate were placed there to stop people falling in.

They’ve fixed the hole but left the cones and gate and they keep getting blown into the road and need to be removed.

  • This has been passed to the local area technician to investigate the enquiry/issue regarding the kerb.

    They will carry out an inspection within the next 10 working days and if required arrange to resolve the issue.

  • Update

    The issue/defect has been made safe with a temporary repair. A permanent repair will be made when resource is available.

    Please be assured, we will continue to monitor the area in line with our Highways Safety Inspection Policy.
