Junction of Priory Road and Benjamin's Footpath

Reported via desktop in the Tree blocking a street light category anonymously at 16:50, Wed 15 November 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5216370.

I need some help with a tree (and am unsure whether it is mine or not). Next to my house is a path which runs from Priory Road, uphill until eventually it reaches Hamilton Road. I think that the path is called Benjamin's Footpath. At the point where the path starts to go up from Priory Road, there is a street light. But a tree overhanging the road, has grown. It is now preventing the lamp's light from illuminating the lower stretch of the path. This hinders people from seeing the path clearly, and is also a security risk, because people who use the path cannot see whether somebody is already on it (whether friendly or not !). Can you send one of your employees to have a look at the problem, so that (after some work) the light will be able to do its proper work ? I myself would have a go at pruning the tree - but I am elderly. And I think that a "cherry - picker" device is going to be needed, to solve the problem.
