Junction with A355 and Frensham Walk

Reported via desktop in the Sign problem category by Frustated Farnhan Common Residents at 12:51, Mon 13 November 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5205313.

Frensham Walk SL2

We are a group of residents from Farnham Common. We are dissatisfied with how you are dealing with our reported problems. We are getting frustrated with Fixmystreet as you close the cases before they are resolved. This is leading to more and more residents giving up on this channel. You simply say who you are sending our enquiry to and then close the file for updates to us. I am sending a copy of all of our problems to Mr Richard Barker, Corporate Director Communities who has asked us to use this channel and we are going to share your responses with him so that the quality can be assessed. Please bear this in mind regarding our reports from this email address. Therefore you/he won't be surprised.

At this junction there are double yellow lines on each side of the road. It is our understanding that these lines are invalid without a parking restriction sign. There is a pole located there but the parking restriction part of the sign is missing. Please can you either remove the yellow lines if you feel that is a safe option or provide parking restrictions so that motorists and residents know what is permissible. Currently the lines are regularly ignored

Please provide regular updates until one of the approbate actions has been taken.

Thank you
