Drain to the side of 9 The Green

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5190914.

This is a follow up to report 5181172. The blockage on our own property is now cleared. It seems coincidences do happen and this was separate to the external issue, so my apologies. The engineer may already know this from his experience but just to let him know in case. I would still like an update on how the search is going for parts to fix the drain in the road. Many thanks.

    We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low lying area.
