Footpath trip hazard and incidents

Reported via iOS in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 11:41, Tue 7 November 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5183897.

The Station Road footpath near to the junction with Lower Street was badly patched some time ago creating an excessive hump next to what is supposed to be a dropped curb. It has caused multiple trip incidents to residents, including myself on 4th Nov, causing bruising and swelling to my knee and grit in my hands, luckily my glasses survived being flung off my face. It may have been further damaged by lorries that cannot turn properly while HS2 road closure signs are at the nearby junction. It is impossible for wheelchairs or pushchairs to be used on this pavement and it’s very difficult for any pedestrian to see the danger in the dark.
