Between number 23 and the main road

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5180806.
The man hole outside the property of 23 Furlong Road has been lifted to reveal a large amount of sewer meaning there is a blockage between the house and the main road. Neighbours either side of 23 are affected, an independent drain engineer came to clear the drains but deemed the blockage to be too big and stemming from between number 23 and the main road

This has been passed to the Local Area Technician to investigate.
We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low lying area.
