There is significant damage to the grass verge , with Mud all over the footpath, and road ( coursing a slip hazard) . I believe there was some work going on at the sub station by the electrical company or contractors and this is how it has been left, is there no supervision or follow up on the work being completed to a standard and not left in a right mess, a friend slipped there with is motor bike, back wheel let go on him.

  • This has been passed to the local area technician to investigate the enquiry/issue regarding the footpath/pavement/cyclepath.

    They will carry out an inspection within the next 10 working days and if required arrange to resolve the issue.

  • Update

    The issue/defect has been made safe with a temporary repair. A permanent repair will be made when resource is available.

    Please be assured, we will continue to monitor the area in line with our Highways Safety Inspection Policy.
