Vehicles park on the double yellow lines overnight along the Green Road, West Way and Chadwick Street Roundabout

Reported via desktop in the Parking on double yellow lines category anonymously at 12:02, Sat 4 November 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5173618.

Green Road is a through way busy road used by parents and large buses that drop off and pick up their children to and from the Royal Grammar School as well as all the other local primary schools in this area. Vehicles that cannot find parking on the Kingshill road housing Estate. The vehicles that have parked illegally on the double Yellow lines so far can be of any size or shape. From the safety point of view it makes very dangerous for local residents to drive out on to Green road because of speeding cars. It is also very dangerous for children and pedestrians to cross the roads because of frustrated driver attitudes. I personally have witnessed near misses of mindless late for school children crossing the roads at the allocated pedestrian crossings which are located where the Double Yellow Lines are. It is a matter of time before we have a fatality.
