Looks like a repair has been attempted previously but still very uneven. 31/10 was about 17:30 and was walking from Riley Road down towards West Street, top of Town Lane is dark and no street lights, went over on my ankle.

  • This has been passed to the local area technician to investigate the enquiry/issue regarding the footpath/pavement/cyclepath.

    They will carry out an inspection within the next 10 working days and if required arrange to resolve the issue.

    We have completed our inspection of the issue and have made arrangements for it to be resolved within 6-8 weeks.

    Please be assured, we will continue to monitor the area in line with our Highways Safety Inspection Policy.
