Broken branch likely to fall on pre-school children

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5149965.
Large branch mostly snapped off silver birch high up and likely to fall on pre-school play area which has had to be closed for safety. Tree on grass outside St Peter’s Church Small Hall by Kingsmead Rd near junction with Station Rd, which overhangs into St Peter’s Church site where there is the pre-school Play area. Urgent branch removed so pre-school play area can safely be opened again for use.
This has been passed to our maintenance team who will carry out an assessment of the tree and provide an update within 28 days.

The issue reported has been assessed and classified as an emergency, which means it will be repaired or made safe in line with our Highway Safety Inspection Policy.
Unfortunately, it is not always possible to carry out a permanent repair immediately, in these cases we will always ensure the area/defect is made safe and continue to monitor it in line our Highways Safety Inspection Policy. A permanent repair will be made when resource is available, thank you for bringing this to our attention.
