Blocked road drains

Reported via mobile in the Flooding on a road/footpath category anonymously at 13:23, Wed 25 October 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5136249.

I am glad to see from the other report that you will be coming out to fix the road drains that are blocked resulting in flooding even after short spells of rain. Can I ask that you contact me so I can explain the issue to you in detail, and also point out what you can’t see without lifting man hole covers? This will save your team time and effort and allow them to focus on the actual issue, which is partially blocked drains (see photos) not the silt traps themselves. I have previously met with Steve Underwood (?) and more recently Wayne Pickford and between us we came up with an action plan that fixed the flooding issue for a considerable amount of time. I am happy to be contacted and will make myself available to do the same to save us both wasted time and effort. Thank you
