Completely worn turning lane markings - danger to cyclists

Reported via desktop in the Road lines / road markings category anonymously at 13:51, Thu 19 October 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5114003.

I believe this has already been reported https://www.fixmystreet.com/ report/ 4597014 However it's been 20 weeks since your update on 5 June 2023 saying "a permanent repair to be carried out within the next 16 weeks". Today I waited in the turning lane and the car in the photo honked their horn at me presumably because they thought how dare I wait in their super wide 'desire lane'. I suggest this junction should be improved further please with a blue arrow island and/or collapsible posts, guiding motorists to stay in their lane and not cut this corner, which I see them do frequently. I've had cars overtaking me on this blind bend while I'm cycling and signalling to turn right. It would also act as a traffic calming measure through this 30mph village. Oh, and please do not use the contractor who redid the lines on Wendover Road between Marroway and Station Road, the new lines crumbled away in a matter of weeks! https://www.fixmystreet.com/ report/ 4107123
