Long grass .not being cut onfootpath allowing dog owners to be very irresponsible not clearing up there dogs mess disgusting area on grass .can not cross safely from car to house without risk of foul on shoes pls help cutting grass should help has been a issue for months .

  • An officer will carry out an inspection within the next 10 working days and arrange to have the issue resolved as soon as possible after that.

    We can confirm that our grass cutting programme for this year has commenced.

    Please be advised that we are unable to give specific dates for urban grass cutting. Our works programme is very weather dependant and subject to delays. We therefore ask that you remain patient should there be delays or excessive growth in-between cuts.

  • As Highway Authority, we need to make sure verges remain safe, this is particularly vital at road junctions where clear visibility for motorists and pedestrians is important. We have a schedule for grass cutting across Buckinghamshire,

    First cut of 2023: Completed

    Urban grass started w/c 17 April and will end w/c 19 JuneRural grass started w/c 17 April and will end w/c 5 June

    Urban grass started w/c 3 July and will end w/c 28 August 2023

    Second cut of 2023: In progress

    Rural grass started w/c 19 June and will end w/c 28 August 2023

    Please note, planned dates may be delayed due to weather conditions.

    In addition, we will continue to monitor all issues on the public highway as part of our Highways Safety Inspection Policy and take appropriate action when required.
