Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5015505.

The drains have been impacted by the flow of debris down the hill. Some of them are blocked. I was told the drain outside our property was checked on 19/09. Ref: 5007670. Our property was flooded right up to our door. I went and scraped what I could away from the drains but only some of them were working. The drains out the front of number 4 are working ok but the drains further up the hill are failing which is putting too much stress on the ones lower down.

    We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low lying area.

    We have completed our inspection of the issue and have made arrangements for it to be resolved within 6-8 weeks.
