The verge is overgrown with weeds and hasn't been cut for several years, this obscures vision for motorists. The road is busy with pedestrians particularly children and the growth makes it difficult for them to get onto the verge and out of the way of oncoming traffic. NB the devolution map shows that this area is not the responsibility of Downley Parish Council.
