Streetlights dont work. One came on for a couple of seconds yesterday - and went off again. Three adjacent ones dont work, total darkness making the road very dangerous for vulnerable people in the street. Workmen arrived today, looked at the streetlights and said they dont have the right parts and will have to get them ordered - which is what they told us a year ago, and two years ago. This really needs to be dealt with before there is a serious accident.

  • The Street Lighting Team will carry out an inspection and order a repair if required, this can take up to 20 working days; however, due to the exceptionally high volume of reports currently being received, it may at present take longer than usual to complete this initial assessment.

    Once the issue has been investigated, the team will order any necessary repair.
