On the road outside 1 The Cloisters
Reported via mobile in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 19:22, Monday 18 September 2023
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5007457.
The drain is full of leaves and other stuff. Due to the slope of the road the waters (and leaves) runs down into the two drains on the left hand side as you drive into the road. The water does not drain and then it overflows over the kerb and down the garden towards me house. Thames water came to check the man hole they are responsible for and said it was clear, so I needed to get in touch with bucks cc.

This has been passed to the Local Area Technician to investigate.
We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low lying area.
