Dangerous parking

Cars are routinely parking just to the left of the dropped kerb outside of my house (No. 40) at the same time as cars are parked opposite the driveway. This limits the room for manoeuvre at the same time as obstructing the view to oncoming traffic/the ability for oncoming traffic to see a vehicle exiting my driveway. There have been a number of near misses as a result of this and I am concerned that it is only a matter of time before an accident occurs. I have politely asked neighbours to avoid parking in such a manner, which they have done - since they also recognise the hazard - though given this is one of the first unrestricted parking roads outside the town centre, we often get a lot of commuters parking for the day. I do not object to them parking here - it just needs to be done safely.
