Discontinued bus stops in Chalfont Common

Re:(Some) Carousel bus routes/ services discontinued in Chalfont St Peter We have been contacted by residents complaining of (some) discontinued bus services/ routes from Carousel Buses Ltd in: • Monument Lane (outside house number 57(?)); • Rickmansworth Lane junction with Chesham Lane in Chalfont St Peter The local residents that have contacted us report bus stops being discontinued and not having been advised of the cancelation of the services and also the physical bus stops still left in place advertising the “old” timetable.

We have since contacted the bus company carousel who have confirmed those stops have been canceled but that it would be Bucks Council who would be able to remove bus stop column/ furniture and timetable and be able to advise and put up a notice advising people of those changes. Please can you now remove the old timetables displayed on stops no longer in use, put up a notice informing customers of these changes. This would avoid having elderly residents waiting in vain for buses that never arrive. Thank you for looking into this important issue. Kind regards, Chalfont St Peter Parish Council
