Hillary Close adjacent to 9 Hazlehurst Drive

Reported via mobile in the Parking in a restricted space category anonymously at 12:54, Saturday 2 September 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4951444.

An ice cream van which previously parked outside William Harding School. Since the Covid pandemic easements began the van now parks on this particular spot in Hillary Close to obtain business from the school population. This causes a dangerous block in the road which added to the problem with cars parking for school pick up is potentially disastrous for the vulnerable children around the area at that time. Additionally the queue of customers stretches along the pavement blocking driveways and preventing other pedestrians from passing on the pavement. This leads to them walking on the road or indeed many of them then find it appropriate to walk across the garden of the house situated on the corner of Hazlehurst Drive and children play and adults congregate on this private property. In the missives the estate is designed to be open plan therefore fencing is not appropriate.
