Sign obscures junction sight line

Reported via desktop in the Sign problem category anonymously at 15:42, Thu 31 August 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4945724.

I am resubmitting this as I am not satisfied with your closure. You say you have investigated this thoroughly, but I really doubt that. Has anyone been to the junction and looked from the car drivers' perspective? Traffic approaches the junction at 40 MPH from the right, which makes it dangerous to pull far enough forward to see around the road sign. To be clear, the sign I am talking about is "Sheepcote Lane". As is visible in the picture, the sign is supported by a single post which is bent. That bending puts the sign in a dangerous position. I would be happy to meet your inspector on site to review the problem. There was a previous report that the sign was on the ground, which in my opinion is the safer place for it!
