From Old Hardenwaye Lane, 1st house on the left

Reported via desktop in the Street light not working category by Marion Pickup at 11:22, Thursday 31 August 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4944514.

I have a street light attached to my house, which has been there since I moved in, in 1979. It was previously maintained by WDC. The bulb has gone. I originally reported this on 01/07/2022, to be told not maintained by Bucks CC. Although Old Hardenwaye is a private lane, the street light is invaluable to illuminate not only entrance to O.H., but the lane which is used as a public thoroughfare. Recently, a Sparx team took time to come and look at the light, and was told the whole lamp and bulbs are out of date and need replacing. They also raised the issue of who was paying for the electricity for the streetlight and said it was ME. Appreciate this sorted asap since the time I reported it last year, and before the evenings start getting darker. Marion Pickup
