12 Wood Lane
Reported via mobile in the Blocked drain category by John Lock at 23:08, Thursday 3 August 2023
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4857101.
Have reported this once, told it would be looked into, as it was done on annual basis. It is over a year since it was done. The engineer who was sent to inspect the problem, has sent a contractor, to clear ONE drain! Not even the one noted. All the drains are blocked on the left side, (going north) he did a good job of inspection. (What a complete waste of time, and money) See pictures. I cannot exit my home, The whole frontage is a swamp, 6" of mud. Now they are clearing the south side, where the problem is not so acute. Please tell me there is some worth in me paying a fortune in council tax, that I don't have to live in a swamp! You ask that I only report one each time. I need to report all 10 drains separately????

This has been passed to the Local Area Technician to investigate.
We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low lying area.
