Huge increase in speeding traffic

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4845840.

A421 towards buckingham is closed. Traffic is coming down Nash Road and towards great horwood. The 40 mph speed signs are small and hidden by trees. The volume and speed of traffic coming through is dangerous for residents the path is narrow and inpinged by trees. The diversion should be better and HGVs in particular shouldn't be diverted into the village

  • This has been passed to the local area technician to investigate, they will carry out an inspection within the next 10 working days and if required arrange to resolve the issue.

    The issue/defect has been made safe with a temporary repair. A permanent repair will be made when resource is available.
