Public pavement outside 55 Queen Mead
Reported via desktop in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 11:56, Wednesday 19 July 2023
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4803159.
Contractors dug a huge hole with no notice and sealed off our private driveway. They have filled with cheap tarmac which wont set - occurred 6th July - tarmac is blistered too and moves constantly. It is also spreading on our car tyres too. Contractors told me they were Openreach, but have been in contact with Mark Smith at Openreach and it was not them. Mark has been out to view and says it needs immediate attention. In fairness the entire pavement is not within tolerance levels due to damage over the years, it desperately needs resurfacing. We had an OAP fall over a few months ago - luckily he was ok. It is one step away from BCC receiving a large legal bill. Please, please, replace.
