Bus stop on Whieldon Street

Reported via desktop in the Damage to a bus stop category anonymously at 13:38, Monday 10 July 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4769698.

The bus stop outside Martin Moore on Whieldon Street, Amersham HP7 0HT, has been hit by a vehicle and as you can see from photo's has been bent. It has been like this now for nearly a week. The post is badly rusted just below ground level, making this very likely to topple onto a pedestrian or fall a smash the window of our shop (Martin Moore). If this was to happen we would be expecting compensation for a new window and if item are subsequently stolen from the shop this to be compensated for as well.
